The MBWBLUE radio receiver for the mobile reading of OMS (Open Metering System) radio meters has now been equipped with a USB-C charging socket. This means that the MBWBLUE can be charged with any USB-C charging option. A dedicated charger is no longer required and is therefore no longer supplied. This measure helps to reduce potential electronic waste and also facilitates the handling of the device, as it is no longer necessary to search for the dedicated charger. The little-used charging option via QI has been removed with this version.

Furthermore, the USB-C socket that is now available can also be used for communication, so that both Bluetooth and USB can be used to read radio meters.
